Student 金融援助 Services will guide you through the process of finding all the sources of aid that might be available to you and your family. We know that the costs of higher education must often be offset by some form of financial assistance—including a combination of scholarships, 奖助金, 贷款 and student employment.
本科(U.S. 公民 & 永久居民)
申请联邦政府, 状态 and institutional financial aid, you must complete and submit a FAFSA each year that you are enrolled and for which you want to be considered for funding. To be considered for scholarship funds other than NJIT scholarships for freshman students, you must complete and submit a scholarship application.
研究生
Graduate students are automatically considered for 研究生 financial support as soon as an application is submitted. Submit your application no later than Jan. 15 for the fall semester and Oct. 15 for the spring semester in order to be considered for the Master's Fellows Scholarship and other types of 研究生 financial support—including assistantships, full-or partial-tuition waivers, 和津贴.
International Students
International students aren't eligible for federal aid, but there are plenty of other opportunities for financial assistance such as international scholarships and education 贷款.
How to Submit the FAFSA
To be eligible for student 贷款, you must complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA).
File any time after Jan. 1 before the forthcoming academic year;
To ensure full consideration for federal, 状态, and institutional scholarships, 奖助金, 贷款, 和勤工助学, you must file the FAFSA by Mar. 15 before the academic year in which you plan to attend.
Include NJIT's institutional code, 002621, in the 大学的选择 section of the FAFSA.
Remember to file the FAFSA for each year in which you are enrolled and in which you want to be considered for funding.
To file your FAFSA electronically, you will need a U.S. Federal Student 援助 (FSAID). If you do not already have one, apply at fsaid.ed.政府.
